A 2.1 earthquake hit just 10 miles Northeast of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah today at 4:22am. The earthquake did not do any damage, however, there were a few calls received.
Geological experts say that the Wasatch Fault, which runs along the Salt Lake Valley's east bench, is overdue for a substantially larger scale Earthquake.
Most home insurance policies in Utah do not coverage earthquakes. Only 15% of people who have home insurance policies in Utah have an earthquake insurance policy on thier home.
