Dental Select of Utah offers Utah dental insurance plans for individuals, families, and Utah businesses.
Individual & Family Plans
There are three types of dental plans offered through Dental Select of Utah (view the 2012 plan guide);
- Discount dental plan
- Copay plan
- Coinsurance plan.
In addition, Dental Select of Utah offers three networks of dentists to choose from;
- Silver network (this network is the only option for the discount plan)
- Gold network (can be chosen with the gold or platinum plans)
- Platinum network (can be chosen with the gold or platinum plans)

Business/Employer Plans
Dental Select of Utah offers three basic types of Utah dental insurance plans for employers to offer their employees. They are;
- Discount dental plan
- Copay plan
- Coinsurance plan
There are two ways to setup your business dental insurance plan;
1. On a voluntary basis: This allows each employee to choose whether or not they will accept the dental insurance plan. The employee pays the full dental insurance premium each month.
2. On a contributory basis: This option ensures that all eligible employees are covered by the dental plan. The employer pays the full dental insurance premium each month.
